IAN JOSEPH GRAHAM

October 16, 1950 – October 5, 2022

It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of Ian Graham. Ian passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family.

Ian is predeceased by his mother and father, Connie and Joseph; and his loving wife, Jennifer. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his children, Chris, Julie (Rob), Scott, and Kyle (Brianna); grandchildren, Eddie (Sekoya) and Hollie; great grandchild Hendrix; his brothers, Colin and Ken; and sister Fiona in Northern Ireland. He will also be missed by family in Vancouver, N. Ireland, and friends in Winnipeg and Canada.

Dad was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and married Jennifer in 1971. Mom and Dad moved to Winnipeg in 1976 with their children Chris and Julie. Scott and Kyle were born in Winnipeg. Dad enjoyed watching his favourite sporting teams in big games. He also really enjoyed listening to music and sitting on the back deck watching wildlife with a good cup of tea. Dad was a truly brilliant man who always appreciated his family and his bonds of friendship. Dad loved to converse and had an amazing sense of humor. Dad was also a sensitive man who understood the challenges of life.

We were truly blessed to have a man of his stature in our lives and he will be truly missed. Dad will always be remembered as a person who demonstrated love, compassion, integrity and friendship.

Dad’s wishes were to be cremated and the family will be having a private ceremony. The family would like to thank the Palliative Home Care nurses who treated my dad with love and respect.

In lieu of flowers, Dad would like to everyone to express kindness, love and compassion.
