Sadly, on February 15, 2025, our family lost a father, brother, beloved uncle, and friend. After a short stay at St. Boniface Hospital, Gary Kenneth Peters passed silently while at rest with his family by his side.

It is with a heavy heart the family of Derek Todd Bacon announces his passing on Feb. 12th, 2025.

On Sunday, February 16 2025, we said a heart-breaking good-bye to Betty Dawn (Zimmerman) Cross-Baron, our dearly loved wife, sister, nana, aunt, niece, step-mom, god-mother and friend to many. Dawn passed away at the age of 68 years at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, MB.

Peacefully, on February 3, 2025, one month shy of her 90th birthday, our Mom, Grandma, and Baba passed away at Lion's PCH, with family at her side, knowing she was loved.

Karen passed away from complications due to cancer. She grew up in Winnipeg's West Kildonan neighbourhood in a family that celebrated their immigrant roots. The Kuzak/Anderson family history was important to Karen, and she centred this history in her home and honoured it in her creative work. She attended West Kildonan Collegiate and studied dance at the School of Contemporary Dancers.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of dad and grandpa Laszlo Haraszti at the age of 86. He passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side at St. Boniface Hospital on February 13, 2025.

Jerry Hooley, loving husband and dear brother went to be with the Lord on February 16th 2025 at the age of 78.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth "Ken" Ray, who left us on February 17, 2025, at the age of 71. Ken was born on June 18, 1953, to Ernie and Bertha Ray in Swan River, Manitoba. He was raised in the community, surrounded by a large, loving family, being one of twelve children.

We remember and honour the life of Esther Korchynski, who passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones on Monday, February 10, 2025 at the age of 91 at The Saul and Clarabelle Simkin Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Leonard William Akerstream passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024 at Seven Oaks Hospital in palliative care at the age of 79 after living a full and happy life.
