RANDY DOUGLAS FERGUSON
June 23, 1959 – January 19, 2025
It is with profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Randy Douglas Ferguson on January 19, 2025, in Winnipeg at the age of 65.
Born on June 23, 1959, in Edmonton, Alberta and adopted by parents Doug Ferguson and Vi (Jakeman), Randy grew up with love, laughter and adventure as the family followed Doug’s RCMP postings.
As a result, he was quick to befriend anyone who crossed his path. So many of his friends were ‘family’ to him and he was loyal and devoted; always ready to help and support them. He also loved riding his BSA Thunderbolt or convertible MG, music, antiques, his numerous pets (and all animals), and creating ‘experiences’ for his friends and family.
He leaves behind his life partner of 30 years, Linda; his son Jamie; extended family and many, many beloved friends.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Please celebrate his life with your favourite drink, reminiscing about all the good times you shared with him.
Donations in Randy’s name can be made to any animal shelter or wildlife charity.

love leaves a memory
no one can steal."

I was a close friend of Randy when we were 14-16, both of us were born the same day, we was older by a few hours.
He certainly love his cars, pets and music, crazy to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family and friends.

My condolonces to Randy's family.
I worked briefly with Randy years ago when we were both kids...at Accubite Dental Lab...he was such a nice guy with the deepest voice I had ever heard! I remember his laughter, his super 'coolness' his orange pick up that he adored. and his love of music. After all these years I remember him vividly.
I am happy to hear that he was loved and that he was a Dad...
He was one of the good ones!
Rest in peace Randy!

Randy was a great neighbour and his love for all pets was always on display. My dog will miss the constant treats Randy would brong over for him. He was always there to lend a helping hand and his stories were legendary. He will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Randy! Our condolences to Linda and his entire family.
