DENISE MARIE ADÉLINE MIGNOT
1932 - 2025
With a deep sense of sorrow and loss, our family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Denise Mignot on April 12, 2025.
Denise was predeceased by her parents, André and Marie Saltel; her husband Gilbert; her sister Thérèse Nault; brother Alphonse Saltel; grandson Alexander Belanger; son-in-law Rick Wiens.
Denise is lovingly remembered by her children, Marianne Duguay-Wiens, Jeannette Peersman (Ron), Paul Mignot, Jacqueline Mignot and Marc Mignot; grandchildren, Shaun Duguay (Melissa Gerardy), James Duguay, Coe Peersman, Trevor Belanger, Paul Belanger (Veronica Ferreira) and Robert Belanger (Jessica); 6 great-grandchildren; brother Louis Saltel; many nieces, nephews and grandnieces, grandnephews and Kara-Tess Belanger who was like a granddaughter.
First and foremost, Denise was a devoted wife and mother. She cherished her children and enjoyed every moment with them. Denise especially loved her role as grandmother. She was an excellent cook and absolutely loved family gatherings. Her tourtière was the best!
Denise was loving and affectionate and made friends everywhere she went. She liked to have fun. Before her move to Tuxedo Villa, she and her friends delighted in their weekly outings to the casino.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Tuxedo Villa who cared so much for our mother.
Cremation has taken place. The family will celebrate Denise’s life privately.
Rest peacefully, mom.
Your love is a light
That will never fade;
You will always hold
A place in our hearts.
Denise’ family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Denise was such a fun and cool person to be around. Family gatherings with her were the best, and she had such a great outlook on everything. I always loved baking desserts for her because she always appreciated them and she had a sweet tooth ❤️. Isla and Mason so enjoyed spending time with memere playing games. We will all love and miss her very much!
