It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather, William Ozarko of Winnipeg Manitoba, on February 16th, 2025 at the Extendicare Heritage Personal Care Home at the age of 93. William was the beloved husband of Pearl, who passed away on November 29th, 2012.

Left to cherish William’s memory are his children, son Dale (Carrie), and daughter Kimberly (Bryan); granddaughter Jennifer (Jon); grandson Jason (Maggie); great-grandchildren, Rebekah and Hannah, Garrett and Carilyn; and great-great granddaughter Paisley.

A special thank you to the staff at Extendicare Heritage Personal Care Home, 3555 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB, for their great care and the kindness that they showed our father over the past year.

Cremation has already taken place. At a later date, in a private family burial, Willliam’s ashes will be placed to rest next to Pearl, his loving wife of 59 years.

Bill’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Uncle Bill was my favorite uncle. He was such a kind, quiet, decent human being. He lived his life for his family. And it was so evident how close he and Auntie Pearl were. He was lost when she passed away. Now they are together.
