Amongst her many, many accomplishments with the legion and the women’s auxiliary, poppy drive’s, fundraisers, and conferences where she could acquire a new pin is when she was the happiest. She loved working on her uniform polishing her shoes, sewing on medals and buttons until it was perfect.

In the last few years of her life Jeannette was fighting many ailments however she never found the time to complain. Instead she did what she wanted when she was able.

A special thanks to Faye, a devoted friend who always offered support and a helping hand in Jeannette’s last years.
