It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of George “Jamie” James Pronteau on March 11, 2025, in Winnipeg. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jamie was an accomplished artist with a creative spirit and a deep love for dogs and animals.
There will be no formal service, however, we invite you to privately celebrate Jamie’s life in your own way. Donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Winnipeg Humane Society in his memory.
Jamie’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Amazing artist and dear friend. Wishing we had more times (like in this photo) to share memories, stories and laughs. Jamie's family is in our thoughts these days. Thank you for posting this tribute page.

I knew Jamie from his many walks in life his admirable work in helping others his art and his work at aqua tech I am so glad he touched my life - rest❤️
