STEVEN MITCHELL ROGOSKI
April 25, 1994 – June 10, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce that Steven passed away on June 10, 2024 at the age of 30.
Our hearts are aching as we loved you so much. We couldn’t save you, but we now know you are at peace. Forever in our hearts.
He will be remembered by his parents, June and Jim; his three older brothers, Chris, Robert (Lori), and James; his grandma Helen Rogoski; and many aunties, uncles, and cousins.
Steven had a wonderful childhood... He loved to spend the summers at his auntie Isabel and uncle Rod’s cabin with his cousins and brothers. He loved swimming, boating, fishing and riding quads with his cousin Richard. He also loved to visit his grandma, especially for the food and to help auntie Linda around the house.
Steven’s passion was found in construction. He loved to work with his hands. His greatest joy was to tell everyone what he had helped build. Thanks to his best friend Matt who helped guide him and gave him opportunities to work in that field.
We would like to thank all emergency responders and Winnipeg police members for your quick actions, kindness and respect.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bruce Oakes foundation or Cancer Care Manitoba.
In Accordance with Steven’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
Steven’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

So sorry for the loss of your Steven. My son Nick was good friends with Steven through school and also when they lived together. Met Steven many times, he was a very polite guy! Nick will miss his friendship with Steven alot.

I am so sorry for your loss of Steven! He and my son Trevor were such good friends who could relate to each other's life challenges. When we lost Trevor 13 months ago Steven was devastated. I had a few conversations with him via Messenger, and in April I was able to wish him a happy 30th birthday. I will miss his occasional messages, which he always ended with "much love". I hope he and Trevor meet up in Heaven and carry on their friendship forever!
