JOHN ROSS

February 23, 1962 - July 28, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that the family of John Ross announces his sudden and unexpected passing on Saturday, July 28, 2018.

John was predeceased by his father, Arnold Ross and sister, Maureen Ross.

He is survived by his loving wife, Roxane Huszar and their son, Matthew; son Steven; daughter, Andrea; mother Gisele Ross; sisters, Verna, Brenda (David), Karen (Robert); mother-in-law, Sandra Hudson; sisters-in-law, Jody (Mark), Pam (Reg); brother-in-law Maurice (Melanie); nieces and nephews, Joshua, Chloe, Tasha, Devin, Maurice, Lavender, and Liam; uncles, aunts, and cousins.

John's loves of his life were his three beautiful children whom he was immensely proud of, he loved to tell everyone how special and talented each of them were. He loved to joke around with his kids, hug them, and share his wisdom of the world.

His love was very deep for his soulmate Roxane. He always said how much he appreciated all the things she would do to care for his family on a daily basis. When they met he told his family he had found a special woman who loved the same things he did and that she was so beautiful—inside and out. They were true friends to each other, always there for one another.

Family was very important to John and he was always there to wrap his arms around you, tell you he loved you and that everything was going to be alright.

He loved nothing more than gathering his entire family around a big campfire to share stories and laughter. John was the best story teller and was never one to be lost for words. We’ll always treasure our memories of the stories he would entertain us with.

As a youth and young man is was very involved hockey, football and track. He loved just being out in nature; hiking, fishing, and biking. In more recent years his health held him back from many of these things he loved, but he’d still take time for walks at Crescent Drive Park and summer camping or cabin trips.

We know you will never truly leave us and will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace John. A loving father & husband, son, brother, and friend.

As per John’s request there will be no funeral. A private family memorial to celebrate his life will occur at later date.

Donations may be made to the Arthritis Society for research for Ankylosing Spondylitis in place of flowers.
